(AWS also announced an even cheaper Glacier tier for extremely infrequent data access, which would actually be cost effective for data hoarders, but it's not even out yet.) Glacier is also available at $57/mo, but that has significant retrieval time and cost issues and that would still be twice as much as he's actually paying them for storage. I wanted to reach out to you about your account. Hello, this is **** from SpiderOak’s customer success team. The sold me an Unlimited Storage plan for $255 a year and then all of the sudden they decide to change the rate based solely on the fact that I have stored too much data on my "Unlimited Storage plan". and now that I have all of this data up there and backed up they have me on the ropes and say they are going to quadruple the cost of storage. The upload speeds are SO slow it has literally taken me 4.5 years to upload 14TB. Secondly, does anybody have any ideas on how I could/should respond? I am super pissed. I have easily hundreds and hundreds of TB of data to store. Firstly, I am looking for suggestions on new Unlimited Cloud storage.
