Speaking about the mall, I don't think Robin will be the one to manage Steve, I rather think it is Steve's dad who is the owner of the mall and Steve has finally agreed to work for his dad. I also think, Steve would be the one to arrange that ( he works at the ice cream parlor, so it would be the perfect place for a cold habitat) and he would also be the only one to led on to Dustin's secret, given how Mike and party reacted to the pollywog in S2. But I think that is not the only reason he is with Steve, I think the mall could eventually be the place where Dustin will try to have his scientific moment with the dead Demodog, which was stuffed inside the Byers refrigerator last season. I think there is definitely some unresolved stuffs between Dustin, Max and Lucas which has led to him spending more time with Steve than the party.
